When I discovered just how easy it was to make cranberry sauce I wondered why We bothered to buy the stuff. You can make it the day before and it is sooo much better than the canned stuff.

    Great Cranberry Jello Salad recipe.
    Ingredients:
1 large or 2 small boxes cranberry jello- 6 oz. total (can use another red jello if needed)
1 20 oz. can whole cranberries
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
    Coolwhip (if desired)
1 small can mandarin oranges (if desired)
    Directions:
Pour jello and hot water (as directed on box) and stir until jello is dissolved. Gently stir in all whole cranberries until all cranberry sauce is dissolved.
Pour crushed pineapples with juice into dissolved jello mixture and stir until pineappples are evenly distributed throughout mixture. Do not add cold water.
Pour jello mixture into jello mold and allow to set.
When you are ready to serve, remove jello from the mold and serve on a plate. If you want, you can mix a small can of mandarin oranges with cool whip into the center.
Serve. Both kids and adults love this recipe and it is so simple!!!
