That recipe sure looks good. I think I will make it for Saturday morning when I can have a leisurely breakfast and a nice hot cup of coffee and relax. AAH!

Jill, this sounds so good! My husband will not eat peaches, said he got burned out on them as a kid. But sounds like I could make it just for me.

you could do this with almost any fruit.
I would use blueberries I think.
the cheese would hold them in place.
may try this on the weekend.

These sound absolutely delicious! My daughter belongs to a ladies’ prayer group. They take turns having the meetings at their houses, and i know she’ll love to serve these muffins the next time it’s her turn.

Yes you can do this with any fruit. It is basically fruit crisp on a muffin.
Of course cream cheese, fruit and sugar in any form can’t help but be yummy.

I have a question for Tawra. I live in Andover also and I am just starting to pay attention to my shopping. I am wondering what kind of items she buys at Aldi’s, the dollar store, if she goes to Wal-mar or Dillons and what she purchases there and where does she purchase here meat and produce? I would really appreciate the answer. I am a nurse who just recently went PRN at my job. My husband and I have been living with my in-laws for the past yr and a half and are just getting ready to purchase a home. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jill

You can use slow cook oatmeal if you whirl it in the a blender of food processor until its the consistency of quick oats. It’s better for you and cheaper. Whirled oatmeal makes a good thickener too, like flour.

grandma, my son has mentioned the same thing… use blueberries! … he loves blueberries! … and my hubby suggested getting a bag of the berry medley (from the frozen food section at walmart) and use that… or use apples (which we have alot of) … so this weekend, i will be making some of these for us…
and so true jill, any combination of cream cheese, fruit adn sugar in any form cant help but be yummy! ๐Ÿ˜€ …
thanks for sharing this recipe … ๐Ÿ˜€

I will be trying this shortly. I have one bag of blueberries that we fought the bears for last season and since blueberries are so good for you it seems like a good way to enjoy them and breakfast too.

I made these this week. The only change I made was to chop the peaches with my food chopper (lol…what else?). They seemed to be missing something. I’m thinking next time I’ll leave off the cream cheese layer. It was an interesting recipe! Thanks so much for sharing it.

    Blessings–
