My husband and I prefer perked coffee to most any other kind. A few years ago I made some quick and easy coffee sleeves out of a worn mini quilt (place mat size). I got six sleeves. When we use our travel mugs with the perked coffee, the sleeves are an absolute necessity, because the coffee is so hot. They wash up like a dream. I keep them in the tea towel drawer in the kitchen.
