Campfire Waffle Cones and Fruit Bowls

These waffle cone treats are fun for camping or for backyard barbecues. They’re also great for kids sleep overs or birthday parties.

Campfire Cones

Waffle cones
Assortment of fillers

In a muffin tin or small bowls, place and assortment of goodies for each person to layer and fill their cones with. Wrap in heavy foil and lay on grill or warm place by the campfire to heat until chocolate melts.

Fillers

Chocolate, butterscotch, white or peanut butter chips
Nuts, walnuts, peanuts
Marshmallows
Coconut
Candy bars, broken in pieces
Banana pieces

Waffle Fruit Cups

For another fun dessert, fill the waffle cones or waffle bowls with an assortment of fresh fruit and nuts. You can also add chocolate or white chips and marshmallows. These are nice because there are no dirty dishes or bowls to clean up when you’re done.

Of course, yours have been on holiday for ages! In England, schools don’t break up until the third week in July and go back early in September.
