Don’t panic when you go to the store and find all the food is gone! Here are 10 prepping tips when you need groceries including dinners to get you through 2 weeks!

Prepping in Panic! What To Buy When All The Food Is Gone
I decided to go to the store today just to see what was left at the grocery store after the “panic” of the virus that is going around. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to find 2 weeks’ worth of groceries for 4 people for $110!
Here’s the video on how I did it.
10 Tips for finding food in the store when it’s “all” gone.
Look in other sections of the store – There was no ground beef but there was hamburger patties in the frozen section. Just break them up to use for ground beef.
Check the bakery, deli, and butcher – All were fully stocked but no one was looking in the specialty sections.
There was no bread on the bread isle – Check the bakery. There was a bunch of bread and rolls in the bakery section. Use tortillas, crackers or chips instead of bread for your meal.
No frozen vegetables – There were plenty of fresh veggies. Just use them in the order that they perish the quickest. Ex. bananas, grapes, avocados first then lettuces and cabbage and then apples, oranges, potatoes, etc.
No creamy peanut butter – Buy chunky and grind it up at home using an immersion blender or regular blender.
No soup – Buy bouillon cubes an make your own broth at home.
No lunchmeat – There was a lot in the deli.
No toilet paper – Use wipes, kitchen napkins or paper towels (watch our video here for more ideas)
No bottled water – 95% of the United States has perfectly safe water. Drink it out of the tap. You won’t die!
No donuts – Really People!
Here’s the list of what we will eat with the food purchased. Most of these recipes are in our Dining On A Dime Cookbook!
