Are these able to be frozen? If so,how do I heat the pancakes when they come out of the freezer.

Amy these along with most homemade pancakes and waffles, freeze beautifully. They are just like the kind you buy already frozen. When you freeze them you can lay them on a cookie sheet to freeze then put in a plastic bag this way it is easy to take out one at a time.

To reheat you can put them in the microwave for a few seconds but if you aren’t careful they can get soggy. A better way would maybe be to put it in your toaster on a middle setting or to bake in the oven at 325 degrees for about 5 mins. till heated through. Of course different toasters and ovens can be different so you may have to adjust the temp and time for yours a little. Or read the back of a package of frozen pancakes at the store and do the same as what they recommend.

I’ve made these a couple of years now consistently. I freeze them all the time, and they do great! My children really like them! I do like to add vanilla, but they don’t have to have it! I made them tonight for dinner 🙂

I liked your article on clutter, and struggle with that issue. My experience with asking people for suggestions is that they ARE critical, DO roll their eyes, DO talk about you behind your back, etc. I have two extremely organized sisters in law, one who is almost OCD about it, and they would be the last people on earth I would ask for help, for that reason. Sounds like a good idea on the surface, but feeling criticized because you’re not as organized as someone else takes whatever wind you had in your sails and leaves you without much energy to tackle the problems. Just saying that people should make sure the person they ask for advice is safe to ask!

I had some yogurt that didn’t set up, so I made these and the waffles. Both delicious. I froze both of them for quick breakfasts on workday mornings.
