Ingredients
1 box cake mix (white or lemon work great)
1 (12 oz.) can 7-Up (or any soda)
Instructions
In a bowl, mix the dry cake mix with the can of soda.
Pour into a greased baking pan.
Bake according to the time and temperature on the cake mix box (usually 350° for 25–35 minutes), or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Notes
You can use 7-Up with a white cake or lemon cake.
Try cherry coke with chocolate cake for a rich twist.
Use orange or strawberry soda with white cake. Top with mandarin oranges or fresh strawberries and a dollop of whipped topping!
You can use diet soda for a lower-calorie dessert option.
If you think of a combination that sounds good, try it!
