Cookie Exchange and Gift Giving

Cookie Exchange And Gift Giving

Here are a couple tips to make Cookie Exchange and Gift Giving easier this year.

Tip from a reader: When baking several different kinds of cookies place them on a paper plate and seal in a plastic bag and freeze. This way when you need a plate of cookies to take to someone or a cookie exchange, you have it all ready. You could also bake one kind, place on a plate in the freezer and then when you make the next batch in a week or so add more to the plate in the freezer.

Tip from Jill: Go to garage sales and find Christmas plates or any pretty plate. You can get single plates for almost nothing at garage sales. Use these instead of paper plates to give food gifts. The Christmas plates can be reused by the receiver as a Santa cookie plate or a dish to put goodies on after the cookies are all gone.

I love to put my cookies in metal tins. I collect all sizes with different themes all year long.
