Homemade Holiday Candy Corn Wreath

I found really cute candy corn wreath! What an easy idea to dress up your door for fall!

All they did was wrap a foam frame with black ribbon and then glued on the candy corn. So super easy!

I love the Candy Corn Wreath. I made it last year. Just a suggestion, if your front door gets rained on please coat it with something. It will melt. Also, the ants really like it to melt. I would spray it with some clear coat or something to protect the candy. Just a thought from someone who wishes they would have done it ๐Ÿ™‚

When my daughter was 6 or 7 I wrote her a letter for Valentines Day, inserting those candy conversation hearts in the appropriate places. I labored over just the right words and placement and mounted the entire thing on heart shaped card stock, which was mounted on a cardboard backing for hanging. It was embellished “just so” and we both loved it.

After several years, she decided to retire it to the garage because we were redecorating her room. The next time we saw it there were numerous gaps in the letter where the ants had eaten all the conversation hearts off! lol!
